To boost tourism, Northern Railways has announced a luxurious ‘Jharokha’ coach, a rail motor car and a self-propelled RA-100 on the UNESCO World Heritage Kalka-Shimla rail track.
The special service is available till January 2020. It is to be noted that the service will be available only when at least six passengers are available for Jharokha and RA-100 and eight for the rail motor car.
In a statement, station superintendent Prince Sethi said, “We have started these rail cars for winters. The tickets can be booked from Kalka or Shimla and are also available online.”
