As the second wave of coronavirus in India continues to slow down, several states like Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh & Gujarat have decided to ease restrictions. However, states like Goa, Assam, Himachal Pradesh & Odisha have extended the ongoing lockdown/curfew.

Here’s a list of states where COVID-19 restrictions have been eased:
Delhi
Delhi had begun the unlock process from May 31 with some relaxations. However, the government has announced more relaxations effective today. Lockdown curbs will continue till 14th June.
Unlocking Delhi:
- All malls, markets and market complexes (except weekly market) will now be opened on odd-even basis between 10 AM to 8 PM
- Services of Delhi Metro will resume with 50% capacity
- Standalone shops will be allowed to open on all days
- Private offices can function with 50% of their strength but work from home or staggered timing has been advised
- In government offices, all Group A officers will work while only 50% staff of other categories will attend office

Maharashtra
A “5-tier” unlock process has begun in Maharashtra from today. Under this process, cities have been categorised under levels 1-5, depending upon the occupancy of oxygen beds and their weekly positivity rate. In Mumbai, which has been categorised under level 3, restaurants and shops selling non-essential items can open but malls, multiplexes and theatres will continue to remain closed.
However, statewide curfew until 7 AM, 15th June has been extended.
Uttar Pradesh
The state government had begun relaxing the restrictions starting 1st June, 2021. However, night curfew (7 PM to 7 AM) and weekend lockdown will continue across the state.
Gujarat
Amid a decline in the new COVID cases, the Gujarat government has revised the lockdown restrictions in the state.
According to news report, all government and private offices are allowed to function with 100% staff from today. It has also allowed the shops to remain open from today. The ongoing night curfew will continue across the state until June 11.
Jammu & Kashmir
State authorities have begun the unlock process from last week. However, night curfew (8 PM to 7 AM) and weekend curfews (8 PM, Friday until 7 AM, Monday) will continue. Essential services will be functional during curfew hours.
Madhya Pradesh
The state had started the phase-wise unlocking of the corona curfew beginning 1st June. However, the weekend lockdown will continue to be in force across the state.
Haryana
The Haryana government has extended the ongoing curfew till 14th June, but curbs have been relaxed for shops, liquor vends, malls, eateries, religious places, corporate offices, etc.

Kerala
Lockdown extended for all of Kerala till 9th June 2021, with certain relaxations. According to news reports, all industries can function with minimal staff, not to exceed 50% strength. Banks will continue on Monday, Wednesday & Friday till 5 PM.
Here’s a list of states where COVID-19 restrictions have been extended:
Tamil Nadu
Chief minister MK Stalin announced the extension of the lockdown till 6 AM, 14th June. Some relaxations have also been announced though these will not be in effect in 11 districts (Coimbatore, The Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai) which continue to see a high number of daily coronavirus cases.
Odisha
The Odisha government announced the extension of the lockdown by 16 more days, till 5 AM of 17th June.
Telangana
Telangana extends lockdown till 9th June 2021. However, daily relaxation has been extended from 6 AM to 1 PM.
Sikkim
The state government has extended the ongoing lockdown till 14th June.

Himachal Pradesh
The Himachal Pradesh government has extended the ongoing statewide corona curfew effective until 6 AM, 14th June 14.
Goa
Goa extends the ongoing curfew till 7 AM of 14th June.
Assam
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, the Assam government has imposed a complete ban on movement from 1 PM to 5 AM daily until 5 AM, 16th June.
