Ajay Solanki, PRO of Ahmedabad Division Railway, shared that special efforts have been made to enhance passenger comfort, cleanliness, and onboard facilities.

These Maha Kumbh 2025 special trains are marked with flex paintings for easy identification. Hygiene and the maintenance of electrical equipment onboard are being carefully managed. Additionally, RPF teams have been deployed at key stations to assist travellers and ensure safety.
More than 10,000 trains, including 3,300 special services, will be running to handle the high travel demand during the Kumbh Mela festival. At major stations, colour-coded waiting areas have been set up to organize the movement of unreserved passengers. Enhanced security with RPF and GRP officers will also ensure crowd management and guide travellers to their trains.
The Kumbh Mela location will see a coordinated effort by Indian Railways to provide a seamless and secure travel experience for all pilgrims.
