India Hikes Rail Fares Before the New Budget
The Indian Rail Ministry made a statement mentioning rail passenger fares will increase by 14.2 per cent and freight rates by 6.5 per cent from 25 June 2014. The last fare hike was in October 2013. The government will present its budget by mid-July.

Air India Commences Operations to Rome and Milan
Air India has started operations of its direct flight between India and Italy. The airline will operate flights from Delhi to Rome and Milan. The flight will be operated on a triangular route with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Hilton Worldwide Expands Operations in Myanmar
Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of management agreements with Eden Group Company for five Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties in Myanmar. The partnership with Eden Group represents another significant milestone for Hilton Worldwide’s expansion in Myanmar.

KLM Offers New Flights to Turin, Bilbao and Zagreb
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has expanded its network by adding three new destinations.
The airline has begun flying twice daily to Turin and once a day to Bilbao and Zagreb. Italy is the fourth most important market for KLM in Europe and the addition of Turin signals a further consolidation of their position in Europe.

Berlin House of One: The First Church-Mosque-Synagogue, All In One!
Berlin is planning to create a place where Muslims, Jews and Christians can come together as one. The House of One, as it is being called, will be a synagogue, a church and a mosque all under one roof. An architecture competition has been held and the winner chosen. The striking design is for a brick building with a tall, square central tower.
