Indian Railways is ready to change overnight travel with the launch of the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. Introduced by Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, this new train aims to be even better than the popular Rajdhani Express.

The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai is gearing up to roll out the sleeper coaches of Vande Bharat Express Trains. These coaches aim to offer a seamless and comfortable travel experience for long-distance passengers, making a significant difference.

The testing process will be carried out in phases, starting at speeds of 90 kmph and progressing up to 180 kmph, concluded by 15th November.
This Vande Bharat Train has 16 coaches, including 11 AC 3-tier coaches, 4 AC 2-tier coaches, and 1 AC First Class Coach. The train focuses on accessibility, with special berths and toilets designed for differently-abled passengers.
The major Vande Bharat train routes include Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Srinagar. These trains are expected to start soon!
