The Delhi–Dehradun Vande Bharat will be the 17th running train service in the Vande Bharat network, marking significant progress towards the development of the country’s railway network and the enhancement of passenger experiences.

1. New Delhi–Varanasi Vande Bharat Express
The first Vande Bharat train was flagged off on the New Delhi–Kanpur–Prayagraj–Varanasi route on February 15, 2019. The train runs five days except Mondays and Thursdays.
2. New Delhi–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (J&K) Vande Bharat Express
This Vande Bharat train runs between New Delhi station and Mata Vaishno Devi’s base camp Katra, covering the distance in eight hours. It covers Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, and Jammu Tawi.
3. Gandhinagar–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express
This Vande Bharat Express was recently launched by PM Modi on September 30, 2022. The train runs six days except Sundays. The train covers a distance of 522 km.
4. New Delhi-Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express
The fourth train was launched covering the route from New Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh on October 13, 2022.
5. MGR Chennai Central–Mysuru Junction Vande Bharat Express
The fifth of the high-speed trains was launched between Chennai and Mysuru on November 10, 2022. This train covers a distance of 479 km with stops at Katpadi and KRS Bengaluru.
6. Nagpur–Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express
This train serves between Maharastra’s Nagpur and Chattisgarh’s Bilaspur. The train runs for six days except Saturdays. This train has been temporarily replaced by Tejas Express due to less occupancy on this route.
7. Howrah Junction–New Jalpaiguri Junction Vande Bharat Express
Eastern India welcomed its first Vande Bharat train on December 30, 2022 with the launch of the seventh semi-high-speed train connecting Howrah and New Jalpaiguri.
8. Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express
On January 15, 2023, the Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam route welcomed the launch of the eighth express train, establishing a connection between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The train includes scheduled stops at Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Warangal, Secunderabad, and other stations.
9. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus–Solapur Vande Bharat Express
On February 11, 2023, the ninth Vande Bharat Express began its service between Mumbai and Solapur. The train includes stops at Dadar, Kalyan, Pune, and Kurduwadi stations along its route.
10. CSMT–Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express
With stoppages at Dadar, Thane, and Nashik Road stations, the tenth Vande Bharat Express in the country efficiently covers a distance of approximately 340 km between CSMT and Shirdi in 5 hours and 20 minutes.
11. Bhopal–New Delhi Vande Bharat Express
The 11th Vande Bharat train in the country, operating between Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal and New Delhi Railway Station was launched on April 1, 2023, this train is reported to be the second fastest Vande Bharat service after the New Delhi-Varanasi route.
12. Secunderabad–Tirupati Vande Bharat Express
The second Vande Bharat train from Telangana was inaugurated on April 8, 2023. This train covers Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole, and Nellore stations while connecting Hyderabad and Tirupati.
13. Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express
The train was launched on April 8, 2023 and covers a distance of 495.28 km in 6 hours and 10 minutes. During its commercial run, the train halts at Tiruppur, Erode Junction, and Salem Junction.
14. Delhi–Ajmer Vande Bharat Express
The Delhi–Ajmer Vande Bharat Express was launched on April 12, 2013. Regular operations for the train commenced the following day, April 13, 2023. The train provides service between Ajmer and Delhi Cantt, with scheduled stops at Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurgaon.
15. Kasargod–Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express
The 15th Vande Bharat Express train was flagged off from Thiruvananthapuram Central Station on April 25, 2023. This is the first Vande Bharat Express train to be launched in Kerala.
16. Puri–Howrah Vande Bharat Express
PM Modi virtually inaugurated Odisha’s first Vande Bharat train on May 19, 2023. This semi-high speed train runs six days a week and connects Puri and Howrah in a shorter time period.
17. Dehradun–Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminus Vande Bharat Express
The latest addition to the list, Uttarakhand’s first Vande Bharat Express train was launched on May 25, 2023. The regular operations will commence on May 29. The train will cover a distance of 302 km in four hours and forty-five minutes.
