Day 1: Arrival at the Lake City of Udaipur | Explore Udaipur
Tagged as the most romantic destination in India, Udaipur is sure to woo your heart. From tranquil boat rides to the bustle of ancient bazaars, from majestic forts and palaces to small quaint cafes, the destination is no short of attractions.

Places to Visit
City Palace Udaipur
Set on the banks of Pichola Lake, City Palace is among the biggest palaces of Udaipur. The palace was built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from various rulers of the Mewar dynasty. Have a look at the pictures —
Entrance: Bara Pol or the Great Gate
Ticket Cost: INR 300 (City Palace Museum) + INR 450 (Boat ride on Lake Pichola + Jag Mandir Tour) per person
Tip: You can club the tickets for City Palace, Boat Ride with a half-hour stop at Jag Mandir and Crystal Gallery Tour.

Jag Mandir
Built on an island of the scenic Lake Pichola, Jag Mandir is among the must-visit attractions in Udaipur. An entrance flanked by stone elephants welcomes visitors to this palace, starting the visit on a beautiful note. Other than an ornate 17th-century tower, a small exhibit hall, the Gol Mahal, and a garden, there are suits for guests to enjoy a royal stay.
Tip: Stay as long as you want before taking a boat back. The last boat for the palace leaves at 6 pm.
Jagdish Temple
Located just outside the entry gate of City Palace, Jagdish Temple is a major monument and an important religious site in Udaipur.
Timings – 4:15 am to 1:00 pm and 5:15 pm to 8:00 pm (all days)
Fatehsagar Lake
Fatehsagar Lake is an artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur. The lake consists of three islands, the largest one of which is the Nehru Park, a major tourist attraction. The other two islands include a solar observatory and public park with an impressive water-jet fountain.
You can also enjoy a camel ride around the lake.

Day 2: Travel from Udaipur to Mount Abu

Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan, is widely appreciated for its peculiar beauty. The spiraling roads leading to this hill station are scenic and catches everyone’s attention. Offering a respite from the scorching desert heat, the destination is often referred to as the ‘Oasis of the Desert’.
Places to Visit: Dilwara Temples, Nakki Lake and Sunset Point
Must-Do: Enjoy a boat ride on the Nakki Lake
Tip: Highway from Udaipur to Mount Abu has fewer food options. Carrying light snacks along will be a good option.
Day 3: Leave for Jodhpur
Time Taken: 5 hours (approx.)
Jodhpur, known as the Blue City, is home to one of the most majestic forts of the country- the Mehrangarh Fort. This mighty fort, towering the blue city, is an architectural masterpiece and offers sensational views of the surrounding regions. The beautiful city wall divides the city into two parts – Old and New Jodhpur. Getting the modern-day vibes while witnessing the old world charm is an experience to behold.

Umaid Bhawan Palace
Umaid Bhawan Palace is divided into three functional parts – the residence of the royal family, a luxury Taj Palace Hotel, and a Museum. The grand palace is set in an area of about 26 acres with 15 acres of gardens.

Day 4: A visit to the Mehrangarh Fort
Start the day with a visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Built by Rao Jodha in the year 1959, the fort is widely appreciated for its splendid architecture. It is situated 125 metre atop a hill and is spread across an area of 5 km. The panoramic view of the Jodhpur city from this fort is sure to mesmerise the visitors.

Jaswant Thada
A Rajput Clan Memorial, Jaswant Thada is a white marbled architecture located close to the Mehrangarh Fort. Built in the 19th century, the structure epitomises excellent architectural work.
