The Indian Railways will soon start the operation of Bengal’s second Vande Bharat train between Howrah and Puri with limited stoppages.

The train underwent a complete phase trial run from Howrah to Puri and back today. The train left Howrah at 6.10 am and arrived in Puri at 12.35 pm. It departed at 1.50 pm in the opposite direction and will reach Howrah at 8:30 pm.
The second trial run will take place on April 30, from Howrah to Bhadrak (BHC) and back. As of now, no final date has been decided for the commercial operations of the train.
According to the railway authorities, the train will run on the Puri–Bhubaneswar–Howrah route to cater to the large number of pilgrims and tourists from West Bengal and across the country who visit Puri for the Jagannath temple.
