Heavy fog in most part of north India continues to play spoilsport for train travellers as almost twenty five trains got delayed, eight trains were rescheduled and two were cancelled. The situation has been the same for over a month now resulting in travel hassles for the passengers, especially those travelling from Delhi to other part of north India.

Even some parts of Madhya Pradesh are in the grip of the intense cold wave and fog resulting in trains getting delayed. However, Delhi bound trains are worst affected due to the current weather condition. Some of the cancelled trains included New Delhi-Trivandrum Central Kerala Express, New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express, Visakhapatnam-New Delhi A.P. Express, Amritsar-Nanded Sachkhand Express, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Chennai Central G.T. Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Link Express, Delhi Junction-Sealdah West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express and Kanpur-New Delhi Shatabdi among others.
However, the flight operations were normal and there was no report of any delay according to the airport authorities.
