Many trains cancelled, diverted & rescheduled due to this reason

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced full/partial cancellation, rescheduling and diversion of several popular trains due to the building of a third foot over bridge at the Ghaziabad Railway Station.

This is being done to increase passenger amenities and also to enhance safety standards. The Indian Railways has advised passengers to make a note of the affected trains so as to avoid any problems while travelling.

Important: The rail traffic will be affected from 24th November to 27th November.

The list of cancelled trains are:

1. Train no. 04183/04184 Tundla – Delhi Jn. – Tundla MEMU Special has been cancelled on 24th and 26th November.

2. Train no. 04444/04443 New Delhi – Ghaziabad – New Delhi Special has been cancelled on 24th and 26th November.

3. Train no. 04439 Palwal – New Delhi – Ghaziabad Special has been cancelled on 24th and 26th November.

4. Train no. 04459/04460 Delhi Jn. – Saharanpur – Delhi Junction MEMU Special will remain cancelled on 26th November.

5. Train no. 04335/04336 Moradabad – Ghaziabad – Moradabad Special will remain cancelled on 26 November.

Kindly note: To check if these trains will be running on later dates, use the ‘Trains by Name/No.’ option on the ixigo trains app. 


The list of partially cancelled trains are:

1. Train no. 04407 Palwal – Ghaziabad EMU Special will be partially cancelled from November 24th to 26th.

2. Train no. 04409 Ghaziabad – Shakurbasti EMU Special will be partially cancelled from November 24th to 26th.

3. Train no. 04419 Mathura Jn. – Ghaziabad EMU Special will be partially cancelled from November 24th to 26th.

4. Train no. 04420 Ghaziabad – Mathura Jn. emu Special will be partially cancelled from November 24th to 26th.
