3. Hornbill Festival
Named after the most worshipped bird of the state, the Hornbill Festival is celebrated annually with much zeal in Nagaland. The festival aims to bring together the cultural harmony of the tribes and preserve and promote their cultural heritage.

Poush Mela is an annual fair that is celebrated with much fervour in Shantiniketan during the month of December. The fair lasts for three days and characterises the live performances of Bengali folk music performers-Bauls. These are the wandering minstrels that sing Bengali songs while playing their instrument Ektara. Be a part of this celebration of colours at Poush Mela in Shantiniketan.

5. Desert Festival
The barren desert of Jaisalmer comes alive with colour and celebration during the three-day extravaganza of the Desert Festival. The celebration takes place amidst the beautiful dunes of the Thar Desert in the Sam Dunes. People dress up in traditional clothes, sing, and dance on to the music that depicts the joys and tragedies of the desert.
