Various zones and divisions of Indian Railways have announced that many trains will be launched, restored and supplemented with extra coaches. This will greatly aid passengers during the upcoming festival season. Scroll down to know more.

New Trains
> The Northeast Frontier Railway will be operating special trains from New Jalpaiguri and Dibrugarh to Jammu Tawi.
Train no. 05714 New Jalpaiguri–Jammu Tawi Special will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 9:30 PM on 1st September, and will reach its destination at 1:10 PM on 3rd September.
Train no. 05912 Dibrugarh–Jammu Tawi Special will depart from Dibrugarh at 6 PM on 4th September, and will reach its destination at 9:10 PM on 6th September.
> The North Eastern Railway launched two special trains between Mankapur and Ayodhya Cantt.

> The Eastern Railway will run a pair of special services between Sealdah and Gorakhpur.
Train no. 03131 Sealdah–Gorakhpur Puja Special will depart at 11:05 PM every Sunday. It will be operational from 2nd October to 30th October.
Train no. 03132 Gorakhpur–Sealdah Puja Special will depart at 7:05 PM every Monday. It will be operational from 3rd October to 31st October.
> The South Central Railway notified about special trains that will run in the first week of September.

Coach Addition
> The North Western Railway announced that it will be adding coaches to two trains:
Train nos. 12720/12719 Hyderabad–Jaipur–Hyderabad Superfast Express will have one extra 2-Tier AC coach. The change will come into effect from 5th September (train 12720) and from 7th September (12719).
> The Western Railway has decided to add coaches to 20 trains on a temporary basis.

Restoration
The Western Railway will be restoring train nos. 12833/12834 Ahmedabad–Howrah–Ahmedabad Express, with effect from 4th September.
