1) Vacancies announced for over 350 posts
The Indian Railways’ Banaras Locomotive Works has come up with a fresh recruitment notification under the Apprentices Act, 1961. As many as 374 posts are available to be filled through the recruitment drive.
Interested and eligible candidates, both ITI (Industrial Training Institute) and non-ITI, can apply for these positions by 26th April, 2022.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
For Non-lTl
Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks. Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification, i.e., 26th April, 2022.

Book TrainsAge: A candidate should have completed 15 years of age, and should not be older than 22 years.
For lTl

Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification, i.e., 26th April, 2022.
Age: An lTl-qualified candidate (excluding welder and carpenter trade) should have completed 15 years of age, and should not be older than 24 years.

2) The RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) has released the dates for Non-Technical Popular Categories Computer-Based Training 2 (CBT-2) exam dates. The CBT examination will be conducted on 9th and 10th May, 2022.
Candidates who have qualified CBT-1 examination are eligible to appear for CBT-2 exam.

3) North Eastern Railway has announced that retired state government employees will be hired on a contractual basis. The last date for the online application is 26th April and the date of walk-in interview is likely to be 30th April, 2022.
