The Indian Railways has made several new announcements this week for the general public.
These include major changes in train schedules, extension of several trains and even the addition of a few new services to the national transporter’s ever-growing network.

Search Trains7 special trains extended; change in timings for 10 trains
The North Western Railways has extended 7 special trains. Some of the routes covered by these trains include Jaipur-Coimbatore, Madar-Kolkata and Jaipur-Chennai. Along with this, the timings of 10 trains originating from Mumbai Central, Bandra Terminus & Valsad stations to several destinations have been revised. Full details here…
Railways revises timings for 6 trains, diverts 5 others
The Indian Railways has notified about a change in timings for several special trains. Along with this, a few special trains have been diverted and partially/fully cancelled due to reasons such as the ongoing farmers’ protests and track maintenance. Check the full list here…
12 pairs of special trains extended by the Western Railways
The Western Railways has decided to extend 12 pairs of special trains with additional trips. Out of these pairs, 8 trains will begin their journey at stations in the Western Railway Zone, while 4 will only have stoppages within the zone. Check the train details and routes here…
Railways to run special trains for devotees; new bi-weekly train between Tatanagar & Ernakulam
Catering to the needs of the devotees, Indian Railways is starting special trains from 29th January. These trains will connect various religious centres of the country. Along with this, to enhance connectivity between Jharkhand and Kerala, Railways will run one bi-weekly special train between Tatanagar and Ernakulam from 28th January. Read more…
