We know about the Eiffel Tower and the Colosseum; we even know about the new Dubai Frame, but did you know about ‘’Gallos’’?
The answer is NO for most people. That’s surprising, since it is a stunning sculpture.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from the cliffs of Tintagel Castle in Cornwall, United Kingdom, Gallos is an 8-foot-high bronze sculpture of King Arthur.
Created by sculptor Rubin Eynon, this sculpture was inspired by the legend of King Arthur, and the castle’s royal history associated with him.
What’s special about this partially-rendered sculpture is its ghostly appearance. Where there are gaps in it, the robust, rugged landscape peeps through.
A striking sight, indeed!
