Soon, travelling to Himachal Pradesh will become more convenient as the Centre has approved the construction of an airport in the hilly district of Mandi.
The proposed airport will be of international standards, which will help boost tourism in the state. The airport is also of strategic importance as Himachal Pradesh shares a boundary with China from the tribal districts of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti.
