Every new year brings great travel opportunities! 2018 was utterly kind and gave us some wonderful long weekends.
With 2019 just around the corner, we are again entitled to a FEW but some amazing long weekends. Although this might require a few planned leaves from your work schedule…OUCH! 😛

Where to go?
Celebrate New Year’s eve in Goa or visit Ahmedabad, Gujarat for the International Kite Festival (6-14 Jan) or explore Bikaner, Rajasthan in a different light with the Bikaner Camel Fair (12-13 Jan).
Oops! February has no long weekend 🙁
Magical March:
Where to go?
Take a trip to Rishikesh for International Yoga Festival (1-7 March) or visit Barsana and Nandgaon, Mathura for Lathmar Holi (21 March). Excitinggggg!
Astounding April:
Where to go?
With so many days in hand, you can plan a trip to the beautiful Kerala for Kadammanitta Padayani (15-24 April).
Oh, no! May has no long weekend 🙁
Joyous June:
Where to go?
Take a trip to the heavenly Srinagar this June to celebrate Eid like never before.
Sadly! July has no long weekend! 😕
Amorous August:
Where to go?
With so many holidays in August, there’s no better place in India to escape the heat and experience monsoons than the Northeast, so plan accordingly.
Splendorous September:
Where to go?
Travel to Mumbai and experience Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with dancing tunes of dhol and drums. If not Mumbai, plan a trip to the wonderful Leh, Ladakh.
Opulent October:
Where to go?
How about travelling to the ‘City of Joy’ Kolkata for Durga Puja? Or Spending a blissful night in huts amidst the white sand deserts in Kutch, Gujarat? Wow!
Nippy November:

With November granting us the last long weekend of 2019, a trip to Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh – a peace seeker’s paradise would be an amazing idea.
Ouch! The last month of the year has no long weekend! 🙄
