Sunburn Earlier
Started in the year 2007, the 1st edition of Sunburn Festival was held on the famous Candolim Beach. The show was hosted by Rohit Barker and Nikhil Chinapa with main performances by Axwell, Carl Cox and Above & Beyond. In the year 2009, CNN ranked it as the “9th Best Music Festival in the World”. Sunburn became a 24-hour festival in the year 2009 when ‘After Dark’ parties were launched. This festival gathered more than 22,000 fans and became a rage in the country. It has now among the top three music festivals in the world.
Sunburn, 2016
Music enthusiasts and party lovers are in for a huge surprise as Sunburn 2016 is going to be bigger than ever. This 4-day festival is going to be held at Sunburn Hills, on the Pune-Ahmedabad highway between 28th-31st December. With some of the best international DJs, Sunburn this year is expected to draw the maximum EDM fans till date. Campsite-campouts will also be organised at the festival, which will include a 24×7 marketplace, jam sessions, bonfire and a lot more. Also, 40+ experience zones with acrobatic airborne acts, hot air balloon rides, Zumba, tattoo making and cruises will be the add-ons of the festival. More than 80 stalls selling souvenirs, cool accessories and funky clothes is going to be a major attraction for all the shopaholics and for those who want to take a memento back home.
