Special Vande Bharat Express from Delhi to Patna for the Chhath Puja

Amid a heavy festive rush, the Indian Railways is working on a plan to run a special Vande Bharat Express train which would cover more than 1,000 km between New Delhi and Patna.

The Vande Bharat Express train will make travel easier and faster for passengers going to Bihar to celebrate the Chhath Puja.


A senior official said that the train between Patna and New Delhi would be scheduled to take at least 3-4 trips.

The train is scheduled to depart from Patna at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to arrive at its destination in New Delhi at 7:00 p.m., taking approximately 10.30 hours to cover the 1001 km distance. Similarly, the return journey from New Delhi will commence at 7:35 a.m. and is planned to reach Patna at 7:00 p.m. on the same day.
