In order to ferry more passengers during the festive season, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced more festival special trains from various destinations.

These special trains will ensure easy availability of train tickets and will further help travellers to celebrate the festivities with their loved ones.

A) Indian Railways to run 23 festival special trains to Bihar for Chhath Puja from 6th November.
Here is the list:
> Train no. 07460 Secunderabad – Danapur Chhath Puja Special will be operated on 7th November.
> Train no. 07459 Danapur – Secunderabad Chhath Puja Special will be operated on 11th November.
> Train no. 06996 Delhi – Darbhanga Festival Special will be operated on 5th November.
> Train no. 02500 New Delhi – Jogbani Festival Special will run on 5th November.
> Train no.02499 Jogbani – New Delhi Festival Special will be operated on 6th November.
> Train no. 04986 Delhi – Saharsa Festival Special will be operated on 5h November.
> Train no. 04985 Saharsa – Delhi Festival Special will commence its journey on 6th November.
> Train no. 04598 Sirhind – Saharsa Festival Special will be operated on 5th, 6th and 7th November.
> Train no. 04597 Saharsa – Ambala Cantt. Festival Special will commence its journey on 5th, 6th and 8th November.
> Train no. 01612 Delhi – Bhagalpur Festival Special will be operated on 6th November.
> Train no. 01611 Bhagalpur – Delhi Festival Special will be operated on 7th November.
> Train no. 04170 Delhi – Saharsa Festival Special will be operated on 6th November.
> Train no. 04169 Saharsa – Delhi Festival Special will be operated on 7th November.
> Train no. 01630 Delhi – Darbhanga Festival Special will be operated on 6th November.
> Train no. 01629 Darbhanga – Delhi Festival Special will be operated on 6th November.
> Train no. 09638 New Delhi – Katihar Festival Special will be operated on 6th November.
> Train no. 09637 Katihar – New Delhi Festival Special will be operated on 8th November.
> Train no. 04998 Delhi – Darbhanga Festival Special will be operated on 7th November.
> Train no. 04997 Darbhanga – Delhi Festival Special will be operated on 7th November.
> Train no. 04742 Anand Vihar Terminus – Barauni Festival Special will be operated on 7th November.
> Train no. 04741 Barauni Junction – Anand Vihar Terminus Festival Special will be operated on 8th November.
> Train no. 04744 Delhi – Saharsa Festival Special will be operated on 7th November.
> Train no. 04745 Saharsa – Delhi Festival Special will commence its journey on 8th November.
B) Train nos. 05301/05302 Gorakhpur – Valsad – Gorakhpur festival special will run as per the details given below:

C) Special train announced on the. Shalimar – Patna – Shalimar route by the South Eastern Railway.

D) Keeping the demand of the passengers in view, the Western Railway will be running festival special trains on special fare between Udhna – Chhapra and Udhna – Danapur.
