16 trains cancelled, 3 rescheduled by Indian Railways

The Indian Railways has cancelled 16 passenger trains which had journeys scheduled for today, September 18. The cancelled trains include express, intercity, Duronto and superfast special trains.

The following trains have been fully cancelled for trips today, on September 18:

  • 09249 Ahmedabad–Kevadiya Special
  • 01028 Pandharpur–Dadar Special 
  • 01041 Dadar–Sainagar Shirdi Special 
  • 01131 Dadar–Sainagar Shirdi Special 
  • 01651 Jabalpur–Singrauli Intercity Express 
  • 01652 Singrauli–Jabalpur Intercity Express 
  • 02212 Purulia–Howrah Rupashi Bangla Express

Partial cancellations

Two trains in the South Central Railway zone have been partially cancelled on September 21:

  • Train no. 02711 Vijayawada–Chennai Central is partially cancelled between Gudur and Chennai Central. 
  • Train no. 02712 Chennai Central–Vijayawada is partially cancelled between Chennai Central and Gudur.

Rescheduled trains

The following special trains have changed their timings:

  • Train no. 07229 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Secunderabad Sabari Express will now depart at 10 am instead of 7 am on September 18, 23, 24, 25 and 30. 
  • Train no. 07015 Bhubaneswar–Secunderabad Visakha Special has new timings between the Tilaru and Simhachalam North stations. Details below:

  • Train no. 07244 Rayagada–Guntur Special has new timings between the Rayagada and Vizianagaram stations. Details below:
