Indian Railways is all set to cater to the rush expected during the festive season. To avoid any discomfort to the passengers, Railways will start a number of festive special IRCTC trains on various routes.
Following is the list of Festive Special Trains 2020:
> 02867/02868 Howrah-Puducherry-Howrah Weekly Special (From 18th October to 2nd December)
> 02877/02878 Howrah-Ernakulam-Howrah Weekly Special (From 17th October to 1st December)

> 02847/02848 Howrah-Digha-Howrah Special (Daily) (From 16th October to 30th November)
> 02829/02830 Howrah-Tatanagar-Howrah Special (Daily) (From 16th October to 30th November)
> 02837/02838 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Special (Daily) (From 16th October to 1st December)
> 02804/02803 Howrah-Ranchi-Howrah Special (Daily) (From 18th October to 1st December)
AC Bi-weekly Special Trains between Howrah and Pune from today:
> 02222 Howrah-Pune AC Special to leave Howrah every Thursday and Saturday
> 02221 Pune-Howrah AC Special to leave Pune every Saturday and Monday from 17th October
South Eastern Railways will also run Howrah-Ranchi-Howrah Special, details:
6 days a week, except on Sundays
> 02019 Howrah-Ranchi Special to leave Howrah at 6:05 AM
> 02020 Ranchi-Howrah Special to leave Ranchi at 1:45 PM
Stoppages: Durgapur, Ranigang, Dhanbad, Chandrapura, Bokaro Steel City and Muri
Also, railways will run 2 special trains between Santragachi-Chennai Central-Santragachi
> 02807 Santragachi-Chennai Central AC Bi-Weekly Special Trains every Tuesday & Friday from 16th October
> 02808 Chennai Central-Santragachi AC Bi-Weekly Special Train every Thursday & Sunday from 18th October
Western Railways will run one more special train between Mumbai Central – H.Nizamuddin, full details here:
WR will run one more Special train as Mumbai Central – H.Nizamuddin August Kranti Special w.e.f. 17th Oct 2020.
Booking will open on 16th Oct 2020 at nominated PRS counters & IRCTC website.
