Several major trains have been cancelled and diverted by the Indian Railways. Most of these changes in train schedules have been announced for tomorrow, August 25.

- Train no. 05656 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Kamakhya Special has been cancelled for August 25.
- Train no. 04695 Kochuveli – Amritsar Jn. Special has been cancelled for August 25.
- Train no. 07353 Vasco Da Gama – Velankanni Weekly Special has been cancelled for August 30, September 6 and September 13.
- Train no. 07354 Velankanni – Vasco Da Gama Weekly Special has been cancelled for August 31, September 7 and September 14.
