Several trains to and from Ayodhya, including the Vande Bharat Express which carries passengers from Delhi to the temple town, have been cancelled or diverted due to heavy track doubling and infrastructure work on the Lucknow-Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Shahganj-Zafarabad section.
