Indian states continue to ramp up safety measures to control the second wave of the pandemic in the country. For this, lockdown guidelines have been extended in several places till the end of May.
These include Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Manipur and Nagaland.
Please note: Despite the changing guidelines, air and rail travel remains unaffected and passengers can continue to travel to/from airports and railway stations with a valid boarding pass or train ticket. However, it is advisable that you check the latest state-wise guidelines before travelling.

Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand had imposed a COVID curfew, which has now been extended for the second time.
Extended till: 6 am on May 25.
Visitors from outside the state will continue to be required to register on the smart city portal (smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in) and carry a negative RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours. The official order also lists various other guidelines for residents returning to the state along with timings of essential services, which can be checked here.
Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh had imposed a corona curfew in all 52 districts of the state, which has now been extended.
Extended till: As per media reports, the dates for curfew extension vary district-wise. While in Bhopal and Jabalpur it has been extended till May 24, in Indore it will remain in force till May 29. Several districts, including Gwalior, Ujjain and Morena will remain under curfew till May 31.
Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh has extended the curfew restrictions currently in force between 12 pm and 6 am, which were earlier to remain in force till May 18.
Extended till: May 31.
Odisha
Odisha had imposed a lockdown in the state, which has now been extended with stringent safety measures.
Extended till: 5 am on June 1.
The state has also ordered a complete shutdown on weekends, starting from 6 pm on Fridays till 5 am on Mondays.

Manipur
The Manipur government has extended the curfew placed in seven districts of the state: Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, Churachandpur and Ukhrul.
Extended till: May 28.

Nagaland
Nagaland has been under a total lockdown, and the guidelines have now been extended by the state government.
Extended till: May 31.
