Good news for train travellers!
Amid rising coronavirus cases in India, Railways has been cancelling trains in some regions as a preventive measure.
The Government of West Bengal had previously announced a complete lockdown in the state on the 5th, 8th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, and 31st August 2020. Special trains had been regulated on the basis of these dates.

But now as per the revised notification, the complete lockdown in the West Bengal has been withdrawn on the 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th August 2020.

Consequently, the cancellation of special train services which was announced earlier on 2nd August 2020 will now be restored to run on the 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th August 2020.
