In a move to boost tourism, Rajasthan has unveiled India’s first luxury electric cruise on the serene Ana Sagar Lake in Ajmer.
This eco-conscious e-cruise offers a premium experience while ensuring environmental preservation. The project, owned by JP Dadhich and developed by Goa-based Board Craft Private Limited, represents a significant innovation, with a total investment of INR 5 crore.
The luxury e-cruise, crafted from lightweight fiber instead of traditional heavy iron, is specifically designed to navigate shallow waters as little as four feet deep. This 22-meter-long double-decker vessel is the first of its kind in India, combining comfort with sustainability.
The air-conditioned lower deck offers a refreshing retreat from Ajmer’s heat, while the upper deck boasts open-air seating and a dance floor, ideal for private events like parties, DJ nights, or simply taking in the stunning panoramic views of the lake.
