Making sure that the safety of passengers remains the top-priority, Northern Railways has announced its preparations for the upcoming fog season.
If the trains are late by more than an hour, passengers will receive SMS updates with information about the current location of the train and its expected arrival time.

Search TrainsIn a statement, T.P. Singh, General Manager of Northern Railways said, “We have also freshly painted all signages and boards with luminescent paint.”
All the trains on the Northern Railway network have been equipped with fog safety devices. This will ensure that trains slow down well in advance when reaching a signal.
Additionally, to check for rail fractures that cause track accidents, special patrolling teams have been deployed.
