Bhopal is about to undergo a significant change in its transportation infrastructure with the arrival of three Vande Bharat Metro trains.

These trains are aimed at enhancing connectivity for passengers traveling up to 200 km from Bhopal.
According to reports, in the initial phase, the Vande Bharat Metro trains will operate from Bhopal to Betul, Sagar, and Shajapur.
The first train is set to operate from Bhopal to Betul, passing through Hoshangabad and Itarsi. The second train will link Bhopal to Sagar via Bina, while the third will travel from Bhopal to Shajapur through Sehore.
These trains are expected to run at an average speed of 120 kilometers per hour, greatly reducing travel time for passengers.
The Vande Bharat Metro trains will feature sleeper coaches, offering a comfortable and economical travel option. Each train is expected to consist of 8 to 10 coaches, ensuring ample seating capacity for commuters.
