Keeping the passenger rush in mind during the festive season, the Indian Railways has decided to run new special trains ahead of Dussehra and Diwali 2021.
As per the latest updates, the Indian Railways is planning to operate these trains on several major routes.

Here are some of the important updates that you must know:
> On public demand, train no.s 08197/08198 Kacheguda–TATA–Kacheguda Superfast Festival Special will run once every week. It will depart from TATA on every Friday and arrive at Kacheguda on Saturday whereas in the return direction, it will leave Kacheguda on Saturday and arrive at TATA on Sunday.
> To clear extra rush during Pooja and Diwali, the Railway Board has permitted the operation of special trains between Tambaram (TBM) and Nagercoil (NCJ) via Villupuram, Tiruchchirappalli, Madurai and Tirunelveli.
> The Railway Board has also approved the running of special trains between Chennai Egmore and Mangalore Central.

> The Western Railway has decided to extend trips of two pairs of festival special trains (train no.s 02645/46 Indore–Kochuveli Special and train no.s 06053/54 Madurai–Bikaner Special). Only those passengers who have confirmed tickets will be permitted to travel. Travellers are advised to adhere to the COVID-19 rules.

> Keeping the demand of the passengers in view, the Indian Railways is running special trains between Howrah–Puri–Howrah effective till 6th November from Howrah and till 11th November from Puri.
Train no. 08179 Howrah–Puri Special will leave Howrah every Saturday at 08:35 pm and will reach Puri at 6:45 am the next day. In the return direction, train no. 08180 Puri–Howrah Special will depart from Puri every Sunday at 07:35 pm and will reach Howrah at 3:35 am the next day.
