Railways to run more than 20 trains on these routes

The Indian Railways has been taking major steps in order to ensure a safe and comfortable travel experience.

Keeping passengers’ convenience in mind, the Railways has decided to extend, restore and provide some new services on various important routes.

Here are some of the important updates that you must know:

1) The Northern Railway has decided to extend the services of the following Festival Special trains from September 1:

• Train no. 09027 Bandra T – Jammu Tawi Festival Special Express will be extended from 04/09/21 untill further notice.
  
• Train no. 09028 Jammu Tawi – Bandra T Festival Special Express will be extended from 06/09/21 untill further notice.
  
• Train no. 09017 Bandra T – Haridwar Superfast Festival Special will be extended from 01/09/21 untill further notice.
  
• Train no. 09018 Haridwar – Bandra T Superfast Festival Special will be extended from 02/09/21 until further notice.
  
• Train no. 09313 Indore – Patna Festival Special Express will be extended from 01/09/21 until further advice.
  
• Train no. 09314 Patna – Indore Festival Special Express will be extended from 03/09/21 until further notice. 
• Train no. 09321 Indore – Patna Festival Special Express will be extended from 04/09/21 until further notice.
• Train no. 09322 Patna – Indore Festival Special Express will be extended from 06/09/21 until further notice.
• Train no. 09451 Gandhidham –Bhagalpur Festival Special Express will be extended from 03/09/21 until further advice.
• Train no. 09452 Bhagalpur – Gandhidham Festival Special Express will be extended from 06/09/21 until further notice.
  

2) The Northeast Frontier Railway has introduced weekly trains between Agartala and Firozpur to benefit train passengers. Train no. 04493 Agartala – Firozpur Weekly Special will leave Agartala at 3:00 pm on every Tuesday whereas train no. 04494 Firozpur – Agartala Weekly Special will depart from Firozpur at 1:25 pm on every Monday.

3) The Indian Railways has decided to run train no.s  04075/04076 Naharlagun – Anand Vihar – Naharlagun AC Express Special from 29/08/21 until further advice.

4) The Western Railway has announced the extension of several train services which include:

• Train no. 02929 which runs between Bandra Terminus – Jaisalmer will be extended from 03/09/21 until further notice.
  
• Train no. 02930 which runs between Jaisalmer – Bandra Terminus will be extended from 04/09/21 until further notice.
  
• Train no. 09057 which runs between Udhna – Manduadih will be extended from 03/09/21 until further notice.
  
• Train no. 09058 which runs between Manduadih – Udhna will be extended from 05/09/21 until further notice.
  
• Train no. 09424 which runs between Gandhidham – Tirunelveli will be extended from 06/09/21 until further notice.
• Train no. 09325 which runs between Tirunelveli – Gandhidham will be extended from 09/09/21 until further notice.
• Train no. 09205 which runs between Porbandar – Howrah will be extended from 01/09/21 until further notice.
• Train no. 09206 which runs between Howrah – Porbandar will be extended from 03/09/21 until further notice. 
• Train no. 02905 which runs between Okha – Howrah will be extended from 05/09/21 until further notice.
• Train no. 02906 which runs between Howrah – Okha will be extended from 07/09/21 until further notice.
