Indian Railway is set to resume 120 days prior reservation facility for passengers in special trains from 1st August.

Premium and tatkal booking will also be allowed for a few trains. Currently, there are no tatkal facilities in 30 Rajdhani special trains.
Kindly Note: To make travelling more convenient, railways has proposed to grant permission for increasing the number of special trains during Raksha Bandhan. However, schedules of the trains are yet to be decided.

30 special Rajdhani trains have commenced from 12th May, while 200 special trains have been running on track since June. Also, to avoid the spread of coronavirus, regular services of trains are likely to resume from 2021.
