Earlier this week, the Southern Railway conducted a trial run of the new train that will run between Chennai and Mysuru. The test was done to make the crew familiar with the locomotive, route, safety protocols, crossing gates and signals. It also aided the staff to become acquainted with the train’s interiors and numerous features.
The trial special service departed from Dr. MGR Chennai Central on Monday, and reached Mysuru via Katpadi and KSR Bengaluru. The Chennai–Mysuru Vande Bharat Express is all set to be inaugurated on 11th November.
