To make passenger lodging more convenient and comfortable, Indian Railways is all set to introduce another pod hotel.
This one-of-a-kind feature will be launched at Mumbai’s iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) by June end.
Now pay ZERO Payment Gateway Charges on train bookings via CRED Pay and UPI.
Here are the top features you must know:
> Tariff: It is likely to cost Rs. 599 for 12 hours
> The hotel will have four family pods with a capacity of two people each, and it will also have 30 single pods.
> It is being constructed near the waiting room at the CSMT outstation train terminus.
> Passengers opting for this pod hotel service will get access to amenities like television, mobile charging points and reading lights.
> The common area will also have WiFi, washrooms, and luggage and shower rooms.

Did you know? The first pod hotel was introduced by the Indian Railways at Mumbai Central Railway Station in November 2021.
