World’s highest railway bridge over Chenab River will be ready by next year
The world’s highest railway bridge over the Chenab River in Jammu & Kashmir will be ready by next year and will connect the valley with the rest of India by trains. This bridge has a central span of 467 meters and is being built at a height of 359 meters.

Western Railways completes pending projects related to passengers’ safety
During the four months of the lockdown, Western Railway has completed several projects to increase passenger comfort and safety. A number of foot-over bridges and skywalks have been built in the last few months.

A New Rail Museum opens in Karnatka’s Hubbali district
The Hubbali Railway Museum in North Karnataka has opened its doors to visitors. Claimed to be one-of-a-kind museums in the region, a toy train has been installed to transport the visitors back in the bygone era of Railways.
