The Indian Railways has announced the launch of several special trains and the extension of multiple others. This decision was taken keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers.

> The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced special services that will connect popular cities, including Visakhapatnam, Kacheguda and Kollam.

> The Northeast Frontier Railway will be operating a pair of special trains between Dibrugarh and Alipurduar. Here are the train details –
Train no. 05938 Dibrugarh–Alipurduar Special will run on 25th November.
Train no. 05937 Alipurduar–Dibrugarh Special will run on 28th November.
> The South Central Railway will also be extending six weekly special trains till December.

> The Northern Railway has decided to extend the following trains –
Train no. 04141 Subedarganj–Udhampur Special will be extended from 2nd to 30th December.
Train no. 04142 Udhampur–Subedarganj Special will be extended from 3rd to 31st December.
> Vivek Express, the country’s longest train, is now operating twice a week.
In addition to Saturdays, this service is also running on Tuesdays.
