Railways Launches More Special Trains, Restores Previously Cancelled Services

The Indian Railways has announced the launch and restoration of many popular train services. This decision was taken to manage the extra rush and to facilitate greater convenience to the passengers.

> The Northeast Frontier Railway has notified the resumption of several train services that had earlier been cancelled due to the breaches in Lumding–Badarpur section of the Lumding Division. Some of these are –

Train no. 14620 Firozpur Cantt.–Agartala Tripura Sundari Express will be restored with effect from 25th July. 

Train no. 14619 Agartala–Firozpur Cantt. Tripura Sundari Express will be restored with effect from 28th July. 

Train no. 12504 Agartala–Bengaluru Cantt. Humsafar Express will be restored with effect from 6th August.

Train no. 12503 Bengaluru Cantt.–Agartala Humsafar Express will be restored with effect from 9th August.

> For the convenience of the passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to extend the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Guwahati Express till Dibrugarh.

> The Western Railway has announced that it will run six pairs of Ganpati Special trains to various destinations. Some of these are:

Train no. 09001 Mumbai Central–Thokur Special will be running from 23rd August to 6th September. 

Train no. 09002 Thokur–Mumbai Central Special will be running from 24th August to 7th September. 

Train no. 09003 Mumbai Central–Madgaon Special will be running from 24th August to 11th September. 

Train no. 09004 Madgaon–Mumbai Central Special will be running from 25th August to 12th September.
