Yesterday, Indian Railways conducted a trial run of the latest semi high-speed train in South India.

This will run six days a week from KSR Bengaluru to Dharwad railway stations and will be operated and maintained by the South Western Railway (SWR) zone.

Search TrainsThe KSR Bengaluru–Dharwad Vande Bharat Express would reduce the travel time between the two cities, and passengers can cover the distance of 490 kilometers in less than seven hours.
This blue and white colour train with eight coaches is expected to be flagged off by PM Modi later this month. However, the scheduled date and time of its launch is not yet known.
