Railways’ Gift to Passengers: Several Summer Special Trains to be Launched

To facilitate greater convenience to rail passengers, Indian Railways has decided to run several summer special trains on major routes.

Here are the details:

> In order to fulfil the increasing travel demands of passengers, the Indian Railways will be running 21 pairs of summer special trains with more than 394 trips on major routes. 

> Out of these trains, 11 pairs of trains will cater to the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, while there will be 4 pairs for Delhi and other places. Four pairs of trains will run to Rajasthan and two pairs will run to South India.

> The Western Railway will be running eight special trains on special fares, covering popular cities like Mumbai, Izzatnagar, New Delhi, Agra and Ahmedabad. Below is the list of these trains:

Train No. 09005/09006 Bandra Terminus – Izzatnagar Special (30 Trips)
Train No. 09301/09302 Dr Ambedkar Nagar – New Delhi Superfast Special (14 Trips)
Train No. 09057/09058 Udhna – Mangaluru Special (14 Trips)
Train No. 04165/04166 Agra Cantt. – Ahmedabad Superfast Special (20 Trips)

> The North Central Railway has launched a special train between Mumbai and Mau.

Train no. 01051 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) – Mau special will depart every Thursday from LTT, from 28th April to 30th June. Whereas, train no. 01052 Mau – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus special will run every Saturday from Mau, from 30th April to 2nd July.
