With a view to cater to the extra rush of passengers, Railways has decided to extend the services of currently running trains, provide extra special trains, and continue some of the train services already running, all the while strictly observing the COVID-19 safety protocols.

1. Extension of Howrah – Lokmanya Tilak Festival Special train up to January 2021
Train no. 02102 Howrah – Lokmanya Tilak Festival Special leaving Howrah every Sunday and Thursday will be extended to run from 03.01.2021 to 31.01.2021. Similarly, train no. 02101 Lokmanya Tilak Festival Special – Howrah special leaving LTT every Friday and Tuesday will be extended to run from 01.01.2021 to 29.01.2021.

2. Bilaspur – Indore – Bilaspur special train to begin from 26th December
For the convenience of travellers, Railways will run train no. 08234/08233 Bilaspur – Indore – Bilaspur Special train from 26th December, 2021.

3. Additional trains between Howrah and Ranchi
Railways will operate train no. 02895 between Howrah and Ranchi on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday starting from today. This will help passengers to commute easily during this pandemic.

4. Extension of Yesvantpur – Korba – Yesvantpur Weekly Puja Special train
Train no. 02251/02252 Yesvantpur – Korba – Yesvantpur Weekly Puja Special train running from South East Central Railway has been extended till January 31.

5. Continuation of Hyderabad – Raxaul – Hyderabad Special train
In order to fulfill the demand of passengers, train no. 07005 Hyderabad – Raxaul Festival Special leaving Hyderabad every Thursday will be extended to run from 31.12.2020 to 14.01.2021. Similarly, train no. 07006 Raxaul – Hyderabad Festival Special leaving Raxaul every Sunday will be extended to run from 03.01.2021 to 17.01.2021.
