Railways Earns Rs 16 Crore on Day 1 of Booking; 45,533 tickets sold

Indian Railways, which gradually resumed passenger train services has earned Rs 16.15 crore from 45,533 PNR generated on the first day.

Railways  started taking bookings for the 15 pairs of ‘special air conditioned trains’ on Monday through its IRCTC website. Check the full list of Covid special trains services resume by IRCTC.

 

Note: These 15 pairs of special trains will run from New Delhi station to Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi.

All tickets for Mumbai Central-New Delhi special train till 18th May were sold out within a few minutes.

 

Railways have set special norms for air-conditioning inside the rail coaches and temperatures will be kept slightly higher than usual.
