The Indian Railways has cancelled many train services due to waterlogging in various regions caused by heavy rainfall and ongoing technical developments.

Today, we bring you some important updates regarding the cancellation of trains so that you can easily reschedule your journey and don’t face any difficulty.

1. Due to technical developments i.e. non-interlocking work in connection with doubling between Vijayawada – Uppaluru stations of Vijayawada Division between August 7 and 14, 17 trains will remain cancelled.
These services include:

- Train no. 07247 Narsapur – Dharmavaram
- Train no. 07248 Dharmavaram – Narsapur

2. Due to rain waterlogging between Padarkheda and Mohana of Bhopal Division, 2 important trains are affected. Today, on August 5, train no. 04198/04199 Gwalior – Bhopal – Gwalior Intercity Express will remain cancelled.

3. Train no. 01125 Ratlam – Gwalior Special has been cancelled for today due to wash out of tracks between Padarkheda and Mohana railway stations of Bhopal Division. You can easily reschedule your trip using ixigo trains app and also avail great deals.
4. The Western Railway has cancelled train no. 09307 Indore – Chandigarh Special on August 5, i.e. today due to waterlogging triggered by heavy rainfall.
