95 trains cancelled by Railways due to Cyclone Jawad

The Indian Railways has decided to cancel 95 trains in view of the impending Cyclone Jawad approaching the coast of Odisha on 3rd and 4th December. Also, a few trains have been cancelled due to the on-going technical work.

> The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to cancel 95 trains in view of the impending Cyclone Jawad threat.

As per the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Cyclone ‘Jawad’ will make landfall in Odisha on 3rd & 4th December. As a precautionary measure and for the safety of passengers, 95 mail and express trains have been cancelled for these dates.

See the list of trains below:

> Due to foggy weather, train no. 15708 Amritsar–Katihar Express will remain fully cancelled from 4th December, 2021 to 3rd March, 2022.

> Due to the on-going non-interlocking work in Bilaspur zone of the South East Central Railway, the following trains will remain affected:

1. Train no. 20971 Udaipur City–Shalimar Express will remain cancelled on 4th December.
2. Train no. 20972 Shalimar–Udaipur City Express will remain cancelled on 5th December.
3. Train no. 20471 Bikaner–Puri Express will remain cancelled on 5th December.
4. Train no. 20472 Puri–Bikaner Express will remain cancelled on 8th December.

> Train no. 14813/14 Jodhpur–Bhopal Express will remain cancelled from 14–30 December in both directions due to track maintenance work.
