The Railways has announced the cancellation of several special trains till the end of the month. These trains ply on important routes such as Ahmedabad-Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram-Veraval, and Udhna-Chhapra.
The Railways has advised passengers to make a note of these changes and reschedule their travel plans in accordance.

Cancellation of Ahmedabad-Delhi – Ahmedabad Clone Special trains
Train no. 09415 Ahmedabad – Delhi Clone Special train has been cancelled from today till further notice. Consequently, train no. 09416 Delhi – Ahmedabad Clone Special train has also been cancelled from today until further notice. Both the trains were being operated by the North Western Railways.
Cancellation of extended trips of Udhna – Chhapra Festival Special trains
Train no. 09019 Udhna – Chhapra Festival Special train has been cancelled till 27th December. In the other direction, train no. 09020 Chhapra – Udhna Festival special train has also been cancelled till 29.12.20 by Western Railways. According to a press release by the Railway zone, the pair of trains has been cancelled due to technical reasons.
Veraval – Thiruvananthapuram – Veraval Weekly Special trains cancelled for December
Due to a block being placed for undertaking pit-line work on Veraval railway station, the Western Railways has notified that train no. 06333 Veraval – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Special train will be cancelled on 17th, 24th and 31st December. Consequently, train no. 06334 Thiruvananthapuram – Veraval Weekly Special train will also be cancelled on the 14th, 21st and 28th of December.
