Indian Railways has adjusted the schedules of several trains due to planned maintenance work in the North Central Railway’s (NCR) Prayagraj Division.

The maintenance is crucial to ensure smooth train operations ahead of the upcoming Maha Kumbh 2025. To facilitate the non-interlocking work related to the patch doubling between the Jhansi and Prayagraj Rambagh sections, as part of the Banaras-Prayagraj Junction doubling project, modifications have been made to the operations of certain trains.

Train Cancellations:
- 14006 train from Anand Vihar Terminal to Sitamarhi, will remain cancelled between 09 and 11 December 2024.
- 14005 train from Sitamarhi to Anand Vihar Terminal will remain cancelled between 11 and 13 December 2024.
- 12561 train from Jayanagar to New Delhi, will remain cancelled between 08 and 10 December 2024.
- 12562 train from New Delhi to Jaynagar will remain cancelled on 09 and 11 December 2024.
- 12791 train from Secunderabad to Danapur will remain cancelled between 08 and 10 December 2024.
- 12792 train from Danapur to Secunderabad will remain cancelled between 09 and 11 December 2024.
- 20933 train from Udhna to Danapur will remain cancelled on 10 December 2024.
- 20934 train from Danapur to Udhna will remain cancelled on 11 December 2024.
- 03310 train from Jammu Tawi to Dhanbad will remain cancelled on 11 December.
- 03309 train from Dhanbad to Jammu Tawi will remain cancelled from Dhanbad on 10 December.
Diversion of Trains:
- 11061 train from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal to Jaynagar on 10th December, will run via the changed route Manikpur-Prayagraj-Chheoki-Mirzapur-Varanasi-Jaunpur-Aundihar.
- 11062 train from Jaynagar to Lokmanya Tilak Terminal will run via the changed route Aundihar-Jaunpur-Varanasi-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur.
- 19422 train from Patna Jn. to Ahmedabad will run via the changed route Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn.-Mirzapur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur.
- 22670 train from Patna Jn. to Ernakulam will run via the changed route Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn.-Mirzapur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur.
Short Termination/Short Origination:
- 12333 train from Howrah to Prayagraj Rambagh will be short-terminated at Banaras from 07 to 11 December 2024. This train will remain cancelled between Banaras-Prayagraj Rambagh.
- 12334 train Prayagraj Rambagh-Howrah Express running from Prayagraj Rambagh from 08 to 12 December 2024 will run from Banaras. This train will remain cancelled between Prayagraj Rambagh-Banaras.
