Train travellers, attention!
Due to the fog that’s expected in the winter months and other maintenance work, various divisions of the Indian Railways announced the cancellation and diversion of several trains.
Passengers are requested to take note of the affected train schedules and make necessary arrangements accordingly. Scroll down for further details.

> The North Eastern Railway notified that three services will be diverted in November and December because of the remodelling work that’s going on at Varanasi Junction.
Here are the details:
- Train no. 12165 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Gorakhpur Express will be diverted via Prayagraj–Madhosingh–Banaras–Varanasi on 17th, 18th, 21st, 24th, 25th and 28th November, and 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th, 9th and 12th December.
- Train no. 12166 Gorakhpur–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be diverted via Varanasi–Banaras–Madhosingh–Prayagraj on 18th, 19th, 22nd, 25th, 26th and 29th November, and 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 10th and 13th December.
- Train no. 14018 Anand Vihar Terminal–Raxaul Express will be diverted via Shahganj–Jaunpur–Aunrihar on 23rd and 30th November, and 7th and 14th December.

> Keeping in mind the fog that’s expected in the winter season, the Eastern Railway released a list of trains that would be affected.

> The North Western Railway also cited fog as the reason for cancelling four services.
Here are the details:
- Train no. 19611 Ajmer–Amritsar Express will be cancelled every Thursday and Saturday from 1st December to 25th February.
- Train no. 19614 Amritsar–Ajmer Express will be cancelled every Friday and Sunday from 2nd December to 26th February.
- Train no. 14711 Haridwar–Shri Ganganagar Intercity Express will be partially cancelled between Haridwar and Saharanpur. This change will be in effect on a daily basis from 1st December to 28th February.
- Train no. 14712 Shri Ganganagar–Haridwar Intercity Express will be partially cancelled between Saharanpur and Haridwar. This change will be in effect on a daily basis from 1st December to 28th February.

> The North Central Railway announced the cancellation and diversion of ten trains due to the remodelling work at Varanasi Station.
