Railways Announces More Cancellations due to Protests

Due to the ongoing agitation in various parts of the country and other operational reasons, several trains have been cancelled by Indian Railways.

Passengers are requested to take note of the affected train schedules and make necessary arrangements accordingly.

> Central Railway announced cancellation of the following trains for journeys commencing on 21st June:

  • Train no. 12336 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Bhagalpur Superfast Express 
  • Train no. 82356 Mumbai CSMT–Patna Suvidha Express 
  • Train no. 12137 Mumbai CSMT–Firozpur Punjab Mail

> The North Central Railway tweeted about the cancellations that will be in effect on 21st June. These trains operate on routes like Kamakhya–Anand Vihar, Kota–Patna, Guwahati–New Delhi and Patna–Ahmedabad.

> The North Eastern Railway notified about the cancellation, short termination and rescheduling of multiple train services. Here is the official tweet for the complete information:

> The East Central Railway also shared a list of the affected trains

> The Eastern Railway declared that the following trains will remain cancelled on 21st June, owing to operational constraints:

  • Train no. 12327 Howrah–Dehradun Upasana Express
  • Train no. 12329 Sealdah–Anand Vihar Sampark Kranti Express
  • Train no. 13419 Bhagalpur–Muzaffarpur Jan Sewa Express
  • Train no. 13483 Malda Town–Delhi Farakka Express

> The Eastern Railway also tweeted about prolonged diversion of one pair of train services. 

From 4th to 20th July, train nos. 13009/13010 Howrah–Yog Nagari Rishikesh–Howrah Doon Express will be diverted via Varanasi–Phaphamau–Unchahar–Raebareli–Lucknow.
