The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is inviting applications for Act Apprentice vacancies from all interested and eligible candidates.
This recruitment is being done for a total of 4499 apprentice vacancies in various units of NFR including Katihar & TDH workshop, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding & S&T workshop, Tinsukia, New Bongaigaon & EWS/BNGN and Dibrugarh Workshop.

Educational Qualifications:
- The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
- The candidate must also possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade as issued by the National Council for Vocational Training, or a Provisional Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.
Selection will be done on the basis of merit.
Age limit:
Candidates must be between 15 to 24 Years as on 01.01.2020. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, a five-year relaxation has been given while for OBC candidates, a three-year relaxation has been given. Persons with disabilities have been given a relaxation of 10 years.
