The Western Railways and the South Eastern Railways have announced as many as 40 new festive special trains that will begin operations from this week.
These trains will provide connections to popular routes such as Mumbai-Patna, Okha-Howrah, Udhna-Chhapra, Rajkot-Secunderabad, Howrah-Sambalpur and many others.
While Western Railways will operate 36 trains, the South Eastern Railways will be operating the remaining 4 trains.

Here are the details of the new trains:
1.Train no. 02929/02930 Bandra Terminus – Jaisalmer Superfast Festival Special (Weekly)
Train No 02929 will depart from Bandra (T) every Friday at 02:35 pm and reach Jaisalmer at 12:40 pm on Saturday. Similarly, train no 02930 will depart from Jaisalmer at 07:20 pm every Saturday and arrive at Bandra (T) at 05:30 pm on Sunday. Train no. 02929 will run from 23.10.20 till 27.11.20 and train no. 02930 will run from 24.10.20 till 28.11.20.
2.Train no. 09017/09018 Bandra Terminus – Haridwar Superfast Festival Special (Weekly)
Train No 09017 will depart from Bandra (T) every Wednesday at 01:05 pm and reach Haridwar at 03:50 pm on Thursday. Similarly, train no 09018 will depart from Haridwar at 06:30 pm every Thursday and arrive at Bandra (T) at 10:00 pm on Friday. Train no. 09017 will run from 21.10.20 till 25.11.20 and train no. 09018 will run from 22.10.20 till 26.11.20.
3.Train no. 09271/09272 Bandra Terminus – Patna Superfast Festive Special (Weekly)
Train No 09271 will depart from Bandra (T) every Monday at 04:35 pm and reach Patna at 02:05 am on Wednesday. Similarly, train no 09272 will depart from Patna at 11:10 pm every Wednesday and arrive at Bandra (T) at 07:35 am on Friday. Train no. 09271 will run from 26.10.20 till 30.11.20 and train no. 09272 will run from 28.10.20 till 02.12.20.
4.Train no. 02913/02914 Bandra Terminus – Saharsa Jn. Humsafar Festival Special (Weekly)
Train No 02913 will depart from Bandra (T) every Sunday at 12:55 pm and reach Saharsa Jn. at 03:55 am on Tuesday. Similarly, train no 02914 will depart from Saharsa Jn. at 04:45 pm every Tuesday and arrive at Bandra (T) at 07:35 am on Thursday. Train no. 02913 will run from 25.10.20 till 29.11.20 and train no. 02914 will run from 27.10.20 till 01.12.20.
5.Train no. 09027/09028 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi Festival Special (Weekly)
Train No 09027 will depart from Bandra (T) every Saturday at 12:15 pm and reach Jammu Tawi at 01:25 am on Monday. Similarly, train no 09028 will depart from Jammu Tawi at 09:30 am every Monday and arrive at Bandra (T) at 10:25 pm on Tuesday. Train no. 09027 will run from 24.10.20 till 28.11.20 and train no. 09028 will run from 26.10.20 till 30.11.20.
6.Train no. 09313/09314 Indore – Rajendra Nagar Festive Special (Bi-Weekly)
Train No 09313 will depart from Indore every Monday and Wednesday at 01:55 pm and reach Rajendra Nagar at 05:20 pm the next day. Similarly, train no 09314 will depart from Rajendra Nagar at 10:45 am every Wednesday and Friday and arrive at Indore at 03:20 pm the next day. Train no. 09313 will run from 21.10.20 till 30.11.20 and train no. 09314 will run from 23.10.20 till 02.12.20.
7.Train no. 09321/09322 Indore – Rajendra Nagar Festive Special (Weekly)
Train No 09321 will depart from Indore every Saturday at 01:55 pm and reach Rajendra Nagar at 05:20 pm the next day. Similarly, train no 09322 will depart from Rajendra Nagar at 10:45 am every Monday and arrive at Indore at 03:20 pm the next day. Train no. 09321 will run from 24.10.20 till 28.11.20 and train no. 09322 will run from 26.10.20 till 30.11.20.
8.Train no. 02905/02906 Okha – Howrah Superfast Festive Special (Weekly)
Train No 02905 will depart from Okha every Sunday at 08:10 am and reach Howrah at 03:35 am on Tuesday. Similarly, train no 02906 will depart from Howrah at 10:50 pm every Tuesday and arrive at Okha at 06:30 pm on Thursday. Train no. 02905 will run from 25.10.20 till 29.11.20 and train no. 02906 will run from 27.10.20 till 01.12.20.
9.Train no. 09205/09206 Porbandar – Howrah Superfast Festive Special (Bi-Weekly)
Train No 09205 will depart from Porbandar every Wednesday and Thursday at 08:00 am and reach Howrah at 03:35 am on Friday and Saturday respectively. Similarly, train no 09206 will depart from Howrah at 10:50 pm every Friday and Saturday and arrive at Porbandar at 06:10 pm on Sunday and Monday respectively. Train no. 09205 will run from 21.10.20 till 26.11.20 and train no. 09206 will run from 23.10.20 till 28.11.20.
10.Train no. 09057/09058 Udhna – Manduadih Festive Special (Weekly)
Train No 09057 will depart from Udhna every Friday at 10:50 pm and reach Manduadih at 01:40 am on Sunday. Similarly, train no 09058 will depart from Manduadih at 04:50 am every Sunday and arrive at Udhna at 09:00 am on Monday. Train no. 09057 will run from 23.10.20 till 27.11.20 and train no. 09058 will run from 25.10.20 till 29.11.20.
11.Train no. 09019 Udhna – Chhapra Festival Special / 09020 Chhapra – Udhna Superfast Festival Special (Weekly)
Train No 09019 will depart from Udhna every Sunday at 11:55 pm and reach Chhapra at 06:15 am on Tuesday. Similarly, train no 09020 will depart from Chhapra at 07:50 am every Tuesday and arrive at Udhna at 12:15 pm on Wednesday. Train no. 09019 will run from 25.10.20 till 29.11.20 and train no. 09020 will run from 27.10.20 till 01.12.20.
12.Train no. 08305/08306 Howrah – Sambalpur Weekly Special
Train no. 08305 will depart from Howrah every Saturday at 08:55 pm while train no. 08306 will depart from Sambalpur at 08:05 pm every Friday. Train no. 08305 will run from 24.10.20 till 24.11.20 and train no. 08306 will run from 23.10.20 till 27.11.20.
13.Train no. 02641/02642 Thiruvananthapuram – Shalimar Bi-Weekly Special
Train no. 02641 will depart from Thiruvananthapuram every Thursday and Saturday at 04:55 pm while train no. 02642 will depart from Shalimar at 11:05 pm every Tuesday and Sunday. Train no. 02641 will run from 25.10.20 till 29.11.20 and train no. 08306 will run from 22.10.20 till 26.11.20.
