Railways Adds New Trains on Popular Routes

Train travellers, here’s some good news for you!

In view of the passenger demand, multiple divisions of the Indian Railways announced the addition of new trains on major routes. Scroll down to know more about this and to check out some bonus news. 😀

> The Western Railway confirmed that two special trains will be introduced between Okha and Bikaner.

> The Western Railway will also run a pair of services connecting Mumbai and Bhusaval. 

Train no. 09051 Mumbai Central–Bhusaval Special will depart from its source at 11:55 PM, and will reach Bhusaval at 12 PM the next day. It will run every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday until 31st March. 

Train no. 09052 Bhusaval–Mumbai Central Special will depart from its source at 5:40 PM, and will reach Mumbai Central at 5:20 AM the next day. Starting from 11th January, it will run every Wednesday, Saturday and Monday until 1st April. 

> The South Central Railway shared details about two Sankranti Special services that will operate between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

Here’s some bonus news for you:

> The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to extend the frequency of the following trains. 

Train no. 15906 Dibrugarh–Kanniyakumari Vivek Express will run every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, starting from 7th May. 

Train no. 15905 Kanniyakumari–Dibrugarh Vivek Express will run every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Monday, starting from 11th May. 

Did you know? Vivek Express is India’s longest train and covers a distance of over 4100 kilometres.
